This fall the University at Albany men's soccer team will be playing under the tutelage of a new head coach. On Feb. 16th it was announced that Trevor Gorman would be the man taking over the position. This is Gorman's first stint as the head man on the sidelines and he is looking forward to the challenge.

University at Albany men's soccer forward Quintel Gates, a new recruit for the Great Danes this year, has made a huge impact in every game he has played in. With four goals in four games, including a Golden Goal winner in last week's contest against Buffalo, it seems right now as if there is no stopping Gates from scoring.

NHL, NBA teams to play games at TU Center this Fall

On Wednesday, Albany will see professional hockey for the first time since 2002 as the New York Rangers get set to take on the New Jersey Devils at Times Union Center. The game is the culmination of work to hold a National Hockey League exhibition game in Albany after the return of the Devils' American Hockey League affiliate, the Albany Devils, to the capitol region.
