UAlbany announces plans for multi-sport complex; includes 8,000-seat stadium

For many University at Albany sports fans, an announcement of the construction of a legitimate football stadium seemed like a pipe dream that would never come to fruition. But at a press conference last Wednesday, that fantasy became a reality when school officials announced plans for construction of a multi-use sports complex to replace the dilapidated University Field.

Chapel House opens new interfaith meditation center

 The University at Albany Chapel House opened their new interfaith meditation and prayer room available to all students, faculty and staff on campus for a tranquil setting to pray and meditate.

UAlbany grads awarded 40 Under 40 Rising Stars award

The 2012 40 Under 40 Rising Stars award from the Hispanic Coalition was awarded to two University at Albany students, Joe Bonilla and John-Raphael Pichardo. Bonilla recently graduated from UAlbany.
